¹⁷ For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”^[a]

¹⁸ The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth through unrighteousness. ¹⁹ For what may be known about God is clear to them since God has shown it to them.
